Can I leave Brazil after applying for naturalization.

I would just like to know if I can leave Brazil after applying for naturalization with my indian passport.

As an let's say I will wait for police visit to my house and leave to my country for a month. Anyways the process will take 6 months to complete

Once the home visit is completed I doubt that you'll have a problem doing that.  You might want to inform the PF, though, just to be on the safe side.

wait till your process moves to MJSP, then you can step out freely, as long as your process is still on PF even after policia federal visit its not advisable

@jeff thank you for your reply how many steps are there in process. How much time normally it takes to reach mjsp

It took nine months in Salvador. That was the easy "extraordinária" route. My online submission was approved in one week, I then appeared at the PF for the requested interview a month later and it sat there for seven months. Now it has been at the ministry of justice for two months. Although this is supposed to be a six-month process, many people end up hiring lawyers after six months to petition a judge to complete the process. I have not (so far).
