Traspasso Visa Question

VillageLife

Hi All,

Quick question. I've applied for the traspasso for my R visa but from abroad.

When it's approved (fingers crossed) does anyone know how long I have before I have to travel to Colombia to go to migracion?. I read it might be different if you applied in country vs out of country.

I am worried about having to do a last minute trip around the holidays.

Thanks

No worries, thanks for checking. I am hoping I don't need a last minute flight...but not looking hopeful.

When my visa was approved, it stated, that if applied from abroad the 15 days started on the day of your passport stamp when entering Colombia, so when you get your approval letter read it completely. The first half of my letter was in Spanish, The second part was in English, good luck
