Anyone game for travel: weekend 10-12 Aug?

Hi,

I am planing to travel to Otavalo, Cotacachi and Ibarra this long weekend of 10-12 Aug, leaving early morning 10 Aug and returning by evening of 12. I am looking for like minded expats to travel with. I have a car but would also prefer if we can form a group of three/four cars for safety, security and assistance in any mishap. Of course if you do not have a car, you are most welcome to come in mine. The trip will involve two nights in hotels, and I am told its in the region of 75 to 120 $ per night for a good decent hotel (3 or 4 star) in those towns, and of course the main aim is shopping for handicraft and leather stuff with visit to volcanic lakes thrown in.
