Hello, All,For a few days now I have been in contact with two brokers and collecting information in order to get quotes and details for the health insurance my husband and I need to stay in Spain indefinitely, obtain the NIE, etc.It is my ...

gwynj

@seamus452If you've got EU passports, there's nothing that stops you rocking up in Spain and staying indefinitely. You SHOULD do your EU Citizen Registration within 90 days if you want to live there, and if so, you need the health insurance you ... Read More

House Insurance by Kath948381

We need to insure our village home, now I tried a while back at m bank but their insurance is only for electric goods. Any ideas where we can get affordable house insurance. Thank you

gwynj

@Kath948381I second @sogy's recommendation of SDI. They have offices outside many/most Kauflands, so you can easily add "insurance" to your weekly shopping list. :-) Otherwise, I've used 24ins (dot bg) for a couple of policies as they're online. Read More

Catalonia Prices by wilsampj

gwynj

@wilsampjI'm a big fan of Catalonia, but anything in/near Barcelona is going to be a bit pricey.Being slightly inland does take the edge off, however. As does choosing a smaller town/larger village rather than the biggest cities.Spain is famous for ... Read More

gwynj

@Sleep NearBlagoevgrad is a good option, and I very much second your recommendation to be in/near a bigger city. Healthcare is possible anywhere, but it's much easier when you can easily access city services. We very much like Plovdiv as it's a ... Read More

@juliablancheAs @janemulberry says, this is true of almost every agent. Most, however, tend to highlight which are sold already vs. for sale. If your guy did that following your complaint, he seems cooperative and responsive to me.... and, having ... Read More

@Kath948381Never used 'em? Don't you order anything online? Most (Bulgarian) online orders are delivered by Speedy or Econt. Also, some couriers will pickup from your address. Of course, it costs more, but it's very convenient. I think DHL will do ... Read More

I have an urgent question by Haejin Lee

The poet published her new poetry. Can the word poetry im this sentence means a single poem?Poetry in the sentence means poems not a poem right?

@Haejin LeeMore germane, perhaps, is your definition of "urgent". However, fear not, Pedant Man has heard your plea. :-)Poetry and poem (or poems) are not synonyms. Poetry is a type of literary work, in the same way as "historic fiction" might be. A ... Read More
