If you could live anywhere, where would you choose?

HelenfromHelen

I also agree with Australia. Although, you have to be ¨necessary¨ to the Australian state to keep you there!

More accurately, one needs to be a "necessary to the Australian state" member of the super-rich Chinese Triade (for example), to be awarded either residential,  and/or citizenship status, in Australia. Just the facts, regarding a royal "screwing", indeed, delivered to the Australian people, by their own (so-called) government!

dakera

Paris, France!

jamesed

Perth, Australia.

A place where the beer flows like wine, where the women flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talking about a little place called Aspen.

Qasem86

I will choose Canada for sure

Kerryspirit

I am German having lived in Greece  and now currently in Ireland for 12 years... And my plan right now is to return to my "inner" greek roots and emigrate to Cyprus with my daughter! :D

Surenjj

I am from Mauritius but in Canada for 30 years. I would love to live in the east coast of Florida. Love it there.

DMSternberg

You are from Mauritius, and you want to live on the east coast of Florida? Why?

Surenjj

LOL. I am too used to the life style of North America. And Coco Beach is so beautiful. I will go to Mauritius on vacations though.

Been there, done that, and I've got all the T-shirts to prove it. Fyi ~ visiting Florida, but actually "living" in Florida, are two, very different realities.

Surenjj

I just happen to love the ocean, the palm trees, sitting on the beach and watch cruise ships. The small town of Melbourne is very quiet with beautiful bungalows. And no, even the Walmart does not sell Florida T-SHIRTS. What can I say, I am a sucker for beaches.

The T-shirt comment was just an expression. Indeed! Melbourne Beach, Florida is a really nice location. In fact, that beach is actually "cleaner", than the other Melbourne beach, in Australia, where souvenir T-shirts are available. :D Cheers, and enjoy!

Rezabahmanii

I would choose los angeles my friends

beautiful4

the usa

Surenjj

I realise the T-shirt comment was a joke :). The nice thing is as a Canadian or any westerner I suppose we can stay there for up to six months a year with paying US income taxes.

Doesn't matter . Somewhere in the world has features above. except my country.(turkey)

I was in LA last September. I am not a fan of the traffic, the pollution, the gang activities, the fake people, did I say traffic? I find SF a bit better but the cost of living is ridiculous. But the proximity to the beaches is a huge plus.

maratikspb

Madeira island, Portugal. Beauty nature, ocean, exotic fruits, nice local drinks)

etownsel

Windhoek, Namibia, Africa or in Pakenham, Victoria, Australia. I have a friend already living in Pakenham. I would love to move there and leave The United States as soon as possible. I am hoping to be gone with the next 18-24 months.

She might not know where that would be yet. :)

We often have conceptions about places and life there which change once we actually settle there, after all. I tend to agree that "elsewhere" is the definite answer, but "where" isn't quite as clear. Though I did confidently answer Seoul, the odds are that at some point I'll be posting some other name from Seoul.
