It's been about three years for me.  Started seeing my wife's HRT doctor, as she took men as patients.  Blood work confirmed low T.  About 1/6 of "normal."  I grew up in Rust Belt Northeast USA, and exposure to toxicity and heavy metals can be one causation.   Also concussions, of which I have had a few.

Testosterone supplementation, for me, removed depression and suicidal thoughts.  I had been thiking for decades that I would rather take myself off of the playing field than put up with the slings and arrows of modern life.  Optimism and an interest in the future were my best results.  Feeling relatively toned and happy at 55.  Looking forward to much more travel and fun in life.  For these reasons, the supplementation must continue.

Congratulations.

What supplement or supplements and via what

delivery system (how often) are you taking...

@cccmedia In my (55M) case, it is 0.3mL Testosterone Propionate/Cypionate blend 2x per week. 1.2mL/month delivered by subcutaneous (not intramuscular) injection. I will be bringing 30mL with me to South America for six to nine months of slow travel.

I also take a medication called Anastrozole, once per week. It corrects the male body's estrogen response.  It is a needed co-factor.

Doing it this way is about 1/10th the price of the implanted pellet route, from prices I was quoted. Commercial rates in South America, from what we have seen in this thread, are much higher than I have been paying in the US (no insurance involved).

The Search for T in South America.

Unable to obtain T via pellets in Quito, Ecuador,

or Medellin, Colombia, I came to the capital of

Peru where at least two clinics were offering

this service.

Clinic number-one known as Rejuv Med Lima

flamed out .. claiming its lead doctor will need

to obtain more pellets in a trip to

the USA in 2023.  The clinic website still promotes

T pellet services although they are not

currently available there.

I did obtain T service (five pellets) yesterday at

the Correa Navarro clinic on Arequipa in Lima.

This clinic bases its pricing for individuals based

on lab testing of T and ¨free T.¨  Although I will not be

sharing what I paid for service, I will state that it

was significantly more than I paid for pellets

last July in Medellin when treatment was still

available there.

I highly recommend the services of Laboratorio

Roe (ROH-way) which sent a tech to my hotel

and provided the results via email the next day.

Sounds like a "pay per pellet" system, although I am sure pricing is not linear.

Coach posts his T recommendations.

Men's coach Caleb Jones has just posted

a video containing his recommendations

to achieve and maintain optimal levels

of testosterone.

He lists the laboratory-test levels for

testosterone, thyroid panel and other

levels that he recommends be tested

for every man at least once a year.

He stresses the importance of certain

exercise and participation in sex

with ¨smoking hot¨women.

Not sure that anastrozole is recommended for dudes / low T, seems a risky off-label application to me. I'm no doctor, but it sure sounds like something you should be checking very carefully before making it a routine thing.

From my research, it seems that men's

estrogen levels are often affected by

T treatments, and inhibitors or other

counter-measure(s) may be indicated.

This is why I personally am doing

everything with doctor involvement

during the first year of pellets.

Some posters on this thread may be

opting for self-treatment to avoid

physician costs.
