Better to buy private or even better go back to your country for major illness as both private and public is not very good

All the major companies use BUPA for healthcare insurance for their employees, that says it all

the publuc sector is crippled now but it wasn't so good even before the revolution.

the private sector is a bit expensive with no real guarantee of quality; since many, if not all, of their foreign staff have left the country.

most Libyans will drive to Tunisia for any medical need, surgery, consultation etc.

i also wish to express my solidarity along with all the United Arab Emirates people to our Libyan brothers and sisters during these times of hardship.
