You're making it sound good. In reality, they just have nothing productive or useful on their minds, so they're always eager to act out what they see on TV. I still, BTW, can't believe the magnitude of their infatuation with the tube.

hard not to chuckle when you're setting with one of them watching one of those pathetic Turkish or Syrian soap operas, and then that sad flute/violin starts moaning in the background, and your buddy's eyes just swell with tears--a bit too gay for me and kinda uncomfortable, but very entertaining nonetheless.

Mo, don't be in denial. I know you got Zee Aflam saved in "fav" on your satellite remote control too. Might not be Turkish but might be korean chick flicks or Amitabachan's rain and thunder scenes when he gets mad...

Am I wrong, or is this guy asking for an instruction manual on how to beat a drum?

flipfinger

Yes (no idea why) but lets me know i'm welcome to send him 'whether my photo or something else'...

Uh-huh.

MoEl

I'm trying to imagine what 'beating a drum' stands for.

MoEl

nice one,

I do not have friends like those ones u r talking about.

my friends are well-educated, class, and would never think or act the way ur friends do.

Wow you've got well-educated friends, lucky you. :o
Now, try to read and understand what other people post. I never mentioned the word FRIENDS at all, I've said that I heard and seen a lot of these stories, and I am sure you did as well. So where did you bring the word friends from? or is it using the concept of guessing which could exhaust your brain?

flipfinger

Gee.  Can we post another 'off topic' emoticon now?

Enough with the slanging matches please, if you want to bitch at each other do it via PM, stop hijacking threads with personal attacks.

Yud

Flipfinger is right... :)
