Hi folks,

My name is John White.聽 My wife, 9 year old son and I are looking at moving to Mauritius in the next 3 - 6 months, initially on a 'Digital Nomad/Premium' visa with the view to starting our own business down the road once we have decided what makes sense (Open to any recommendations please). I have scoured the web for recommendations on schools, places to stay and available business opportunities.聽 There is so much information out there we are now more confused than when we started our research.

Does anyone have any recommendations for us?

Hello John,

Glad to have you come to our country.

It depends where you want to live.

Near the beach (usually in the north) : ++beach, ++sea, ++air, ++restaurants, --far from the capital, --a car is a must

In the City Center: ++cheaper to rent that near the beach, a lot of facilities

Please bear in mind that the farthest point A to B is 1 hour, and being in the city center, it takes me 30 mins to get to the closest beach.
