Living cost in Philliphines

I have an offer of聽 1 lac 60 thousand Paiso and have a family wife and daughter. Can some one guide is this good mount to survive in Manilla or Makati.

Hello there, I assume you are Indian because you mentioned 'lac'. Yes 160,000 pesos is a very good income in the Philippines compared to most people. Most Filipinos live on much less. How good this amount is depends on which area you want to live, house or condo? Where is your office, I assume you will want to live close by. Will your daughters schooling be paid for or will you have to spend on an international school? Those are the two main factors for you that will determine your expenses. Let me know.

Makati is pretty pricey and 60,000 pesos will be eaten up by rent easily or commute.

If you can live out in the rural areas, you'll get more bang for your money.
