Hi All,

So my situation is the company that offered me a job is applying for Training Employment Pass for me and then S-pass later on. The application was rejected and then we appeal because my company believe that there should be no problem. It's been a week since the appeal was submitted, we are still waiting.

Have anyone ever experienced this? How long does it take until MOM get back with a new result? And have anyone gone through the process from Training Employment Pass to Spass?

The TEP is rare and seldom discussed here, so we have no first-hand information.

But definitely "my company believe that there should be no problem" is not a valid reason to appeal: If nothing else changed, it might just be rejected again.

Why do they not apply for a proper work pass right away?

@beppi hi Beppi, they said they can't apply for spass due to insufficient quota. They contacted MOM and said they put some wrong information on the application and have changed it for appeal. TEP status is currently waiting for verification from other agencies. They are recruiting more people as well at the moment, so I guess they think they will have enough quota soon. But yeah, I am worried that the TEP will be rejected again. Thank you for your respond Beppi!
