Go to a street side type stall, not a shop...

聽 聽 I鈥檝e been to a few watch shops but they want to sell a whole new聽 watch. Anyone know of a place (pref. District 1 or 7) that will install a replacement watch battery?聽 Thanks

It's been my experience that just about every fresh market I've visited has at least one guy set up in a small kiosk in the dry goods area, selling watch and hearing aid batteries and selling a lot of used stuff like watches and cigarette lighters.

We recently needed a meat thermometer battery replaced here in 膼脿 N岷祅g and a guy who basically fits that description was able to do it for us quickly.

Starting at 膼. Nguy锚虄n Hu锚蹋, I would walk along 膼. Hu峄硁h Th煤c Kh谩ng (where all the new & used camera stores are located) until you get to .

If you've never been there, it's a market area that takes up the full city block of T么n Th岷�t 膼岷�m between 膼. Hu峄硁h Th煤c Kh谩ng and H脿m Nghi.

It's an urban market geared to locals, unlike the Ben Thanh Market (Ch峄� B岷縩 Th脿nh) tourist trap.

Anyway, that's where I'd go looking around D1.
