Best expat bars in HCMC are far away from the tourist traps & scams on and around 膼. B霉i Vi峄噉.

I would never recommend that area to foreigners, except for a good laugh while walking through without stopping.

O'Briens Factory (Irish Bar) in D1 within 2 minutes walking distance of the Opera House

The best (most professional) jazz in HCMC is at Tr岷�n M岷�nh Tu岷�n's : BB4, 188 Nguy峄卬 V膬n H瓢峄焠g, Qu岷璶 2, HCMC

He's the most famous Vietnamese jazz musician (saxophone).

If you are lucky, his daughter An Tr岷�n will be back home on a break from Berklee School of Music in Boston.聽

She's at least as talented as her dad.

The only caveat is that he spent years fine tuning his "American Jazz" chops until he had a near death experience with an extended period of physical rehab.

He is now more often exploring the fusion of jazz with traditional Vietnamese music.

If you are musically open minded, you'll enjoy whatever show he's presenting when you visit.

There are many other spots with some jazz music in HCMC.

Just search for "Jazz Club" in HCMC on Google Maps.
