I am a 53 years old divorced Caucasian male from the USA. I really enjoy my life here in Vietnam. Been traveling a lot and it seems that a recurring theme has developed whenever I meet someone I am interested in. Please bear in mind that I do not hang out in bars. Everyone wants a marriage visa to the USA. I have no intentions of living in the USA again. I may visit, but living there is not in my heart or soul for personal reasons. Just wanted to know if others have had this occur to them. It may just be me. From my past experiences, if I am in a room of 50 women I will pick the only lesbian to be attracted too...lol

Have 2 stories of my own but won't get it to that. My advice is to go forward with your life and DON'T LOOK BACK. JMHO

Starwatcher, you are damaging your own credibiltiy by mis-spelling V-I-E-tnam. Not that I agree with much you posted anyway. Just looks like more "sour grapes" against Vietnam to me. You must look like someone who needs to be run-over on the sidewalk. I've never had any problems with that.

For the record, I DO agree with your advice for Ancientpathos to stay away from that girl, though.
