I think there's one church that's reformed itself so much that it's now a Buddhist monastery.

Part of the reason that you and others have trouble finding Reformed (Calvinist) churches may be that from Unification in 1975 until 膼峄昳 M峄沬 in the late 80鈥檚, many such churches were forced underground into what were called house churches.聽 Of course, there was no sign in front and no steeple.聽 聽After liberalization the organizing idea sort of stuck.聽 聽My first assistant at the public school where I did most of my teaching told me that her church met in her home and had no name that she knew of.聽 聽I never asked but her father or grandfather may have been a lay preacher.聽

There are only about one million Protestants in the entire country or about 1% of the total.聽 聽They are also reportedly more prevalent in the Central Highlands among the aboriginal people in particular rather than in HCMC.聽 聽Add in that a portion of those protestants may be part of sects such as Baptists, who are decidedly not considered Reformed, and you can see how the number can get thinned down pretty quickly.聽 In HCMC you may be looking for 10,000 parishioners in a city of 20 million, then add in that you are seeking English services.聽 You can see that what you seek may not just stand out like the Notre Dame Cathedral downtown.

Thankfully, you seem to have read the thread and the closed one that preceded it, and did not say that you were looking for a 鈥淐hristian鈥� church.
