Just as I said just type聽 QL1, HCMC in to Google Maps.聽 That is the name.聽 As it is a loop road around the city, I have no idea what entry point is best for you.聽 You could enter anywhere from B矛nh Ch谩nh in the southeast to Th峄� 膼峄ヽ and District 9 in the northeast,聽 as mentioned by Kitty Lanh,聽 where QL1 ends at the Hanoi highway (Xa l峄� H脿 N峄檌).聽 聽I do know that the stretch that runs through Thu Duc District would be productive as there is a large wholesale vegetable market there and there should be more pallet recyclers there.聽 The Thu Duc wholesale market is at 10.869643, 106.728298聽 聽You can just copy/paste that into the Google Maps search bar.

I really hope you have found a Vietnamese acquaintance to go with you.聽 This area is pretty rough and tumble.聽 I don't mean it is dangerous but I would be very surprised if the proprietors spoke any English beyond "Hello."

If anyone wants to see the "real Vietnam" not in the picturesque idealistic sense but definitely real, mostly light industrial, they should take this road.
