Don't they have something like this going on once a month already? What you're proposing is someone to take their time of in their daily life just to meet up with a complete stranger(s) and talk about random things? Why can't people do this on their own? I mean if you want to socialize just freaking step up to someone and start a conversation. Why does it have to be chaperone in a group? No body has time for that.

ABOUT ENGLISH CLUB FOR COMMUNITY
Before I have posted that I need expats, foreigners or local help me to run a English club to help Vietnamese improve their english and improve or change their mindset.
My lucky, I have a lot of people commented that this is nice idea.
Now, I have around 15 local would like to join and some volunteers to open this club
We have planned for first time is 5 July at Trung Nguyen Coffee (Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street) in 6:15pm - 8:45pm
This group is open, funny, and enjoy to networking.
º£½ÇÂÒÂ×s or foreigners will be free for drink and have allowance (will be discussed)

I'd like to help you but I don't live in Saigon.  I only visit about 4 months a year. That being said, I'd like to meet with you in August while I'm in Saigon and see how I can help.

I worked for a magazine in the the US as Technical Director and Editor and I know English rather well. I am currently teaching my wife English though I speak no Vietnamese.

While in the military I had no issues with communicating with Vietnamese, South Koreans, Cambodians or Germans.

I'd really like to help. But, this would put me away from my wife's bedside for at least 3-4 hours on a regular basis. Remind me in a couple of months. I'll have a lot better idea about how stable her condition is then.

Actually its quite common, there are numerous clubs like this, but not enough for the amount of students who want to practice their speaking and listening skills.
