Heart hospital D7 HCMC

Diazo

I wrote about my cardiologist experience at Cho Ray hospital and thought I would do the same for the heart hospital in D7 which I recently visited. Really great experience to start off with. Was given the choice of taking a number for 260k vnd. But the line was already at 300 and I brought no camping equipment. I was also offered the VIP route at 1.5m vnd. I opted for the later. The 1.5m just covering the consult, not any procedure. I have to say the care was beyond belief. I have never had such in depth work-ups. While waiting in a very clean ( think American hospital clean), air condition floor where VIP card is administered, I was given coffee and water. All the while I had someone who spoke English that took me through each step. When done had a consult with specialist. In the end the total bill was 4.5m. Could not recommend any place any more then here if you need vascular or heart care. Wish I had gone here instead of Cho Ray.

"Heart hospital in D7 HCMC"?

Can you possibly share the name of the hospital and an address/Google Maps link?

Thanks for your insightful report.

Thatโ€™s Tรขm ฤแปฉc Hospital where my husband goes once a year for comprehensive check up and tests. The total we paid each year including VIP service and consultation with the 2nd best cardiologist there has been 4.1M and some change.ย  This year, however, itโ€™s recommended that he had a CT SCAN, which added 4M to the bill, but the extra cost was worth it for our peace of mind.

BTW, aside from coffee (several different types) and water, there are also juices if you prefer them.

Yes indeed, there were juices offered. I neglected that. Sorry about the address and name. But did not want to upset the forum police. Really good place though.

It's one of the top 3 cardiology hospitals in Saigon and amongst the top in the country.ย

Once while waiting for a test result, I saw a cardiologist from FV (with whom I had a conversation two years earlier) carrying a folder of patient's record into my husband's doctor office for consultation.ย  Right then and there, I knew we made the right decision not to sign up with FV.

The hospital has a special program (either free or low cost) for poor people, elderlies, and young children with heart problems whose families cannot afford health care.ย

If you're a foreigner, I strongly recommend paying for the VIP service so you don't have to take a number, wait in line, or get confused about where to go.ย  One of the women wearing รกo dร i will pave your way the entire time.ย  You'll have the choice of top doctors, and when asked, will be given the doctors' complete profiles so you'll know to whose hands you entrust your health.

You can also become that doctor's private patient and have appointments for follow ups or routine exam in the medical office part of the hospital.

The hospital's name and address:

Bแป‡nh Viแป‡n Tim Tรขm ฤแปฉc (Tรขm ฤแปฉc Heart Hospital)
4 Nguyแป…n Lฦฐฦกng Bแบฑng, Tรขn Phรบ, Q7

If you forget the address, no worries because all taxi and Grab drivers know "Heart Hospital in District 7"ย  (exactly the way Diazo called it).

I was assigned the head of the hospital as my doctor. Unfortunately I I did not get the dep ladies , but men nicely dressed in dress attire. At any rate I second all the Ciambella said. I too found the place without an address. But if you know how to get to FV , it is just next door.

I'm really glad to know about this place, because I'm likely to need it eventually, given my cardiac history.

Here is the Google Maps link for anyone who needs it. The Google Maps profile also contains a phone number and the website link for the hospital. Normally I don't post that info here, but I'll include it now, just in case someone is looking for this place in an emergency:

Oh great....I knew someone would find it an post the address. I just try to avoid the police here on the site . Donโ€™t want them thinking I am connected to a business and trying to promote it. I did not feel confident in the resultsย  at Cho Ray so I went here on my next visit to smog city. Left very reassured. They all spoke great Englishย  as well. And while I paid for English at Cho Ray I never got it.
