1. When you guys have moved, which air-lines gave adequate (aka most) baggage allowance?
>>Any Air India alliance is always recommendable, as they allow 2 check-in luggages of 23 kgs each. Turkish is also a good option.
2. Which airlines is comfortable? (economy/ business class)
>>Depends on what are your budgets. It's universal, that more you pay the more comfort you gets, except for exceptions.
3. How many hours it takes for immigration at airport?
>>Which airport? Should not take more than an hour in normal cases.
4. Is there any restrictions on taking common indian food items in belgium? (i.e. Pickle or masala poppy seeds)
>>Pickle should not be a problem. Poppy seeds are always dicey article and depends on the country rules (like I know people have been stopped at HK airport, however haven't heard anything reported in Brussels yet, but that doesn't guarantee they won't), for obvious reasons, and hence always advised to carry in permissible quantities if possible. Except for the logic of homemade articles, things like poppy seeds are available in Brussels.

I agree point no 2, actually I did not articulate it in a better way, even for same class (i.e. economy), comfort  varies, like I traveled to S Korea, many times, in terms of comfort , Japan Airlines > Asiana > China Estern.

Hi,

A different perspective on luggage. If you have clothes/used items to bring you can also courier them for a lesser charge that will arrive a few days later and you can pick them in Brussels airport cargo area.

This allows that you can keep the amount of luggage being carried with you at reasonable limits.

For luggage via cargo, u have to go through customs clearance but it is quite easy and has done it. Just ensure it is used as personal items.
