Card D leaving Belgium, do I lose the card?

My husband will apply for card D/F. He has card A now after holding an orange card for 9 months. He has been living in Belgium since 2009 (studying then working). I just obtained the Belgian nationality.
Would it be possible to obtain the D or F card for him?
And if I receive a job in another country( non EU) and leave together, would he lose the D/F card?

But when did u apply for the nationality ? And it took u how many months to get it ? And where do you live in belgium ?

I applied december last year here in Brussels. I got the paper for applying for the card this month. So it took 7 months

In general rule, if you stay out of the country/EU for more than a year. You will lose the F-card. You have to redo the process again as the purpose of the permit is for staying in the country.

But best check with your city hall. How many days in the year stay in the country is required to keep the F-card active.

No experience with D-card. So can't can't say anything.
