Of course! Got a big chain supermarket(Billa) and its very own rock festival too. It's a civilized little town, innit.

There's a couple of doctors/clinics in Bansko, and several in nearby Razlog. Razlog also has a small regional hospital (mbalrazlog dot com) so that's definitely worth checking out. For more serious stuff I'd guess you have to get to Blagoevgrad or Sofia.

You can find them with Dr. Google or try Superdoc for particular specialists. If you want to live there year round, I'd be confident that you can track down a GP (primary care physician) in either Bansko/Razlog who you can have as your first point of contact. For a specialist consultation or operation I'd suggest it's better to get up to a large private hospital in Sofia (such as Tokuda City Clinic).

Hello there.

We stay near Pirin now (equidistant to Razlog & Bansko). We love it here.

Our GP is Dr Jupanov in Razlog. He speaks English, Bulgarian and German.

He is a great doctor & as Gwyn says generally refers you on to specialists if needed.

Razlog hospital is basic but fine for xrays etc. I even had a yearlly mammogram done there.

Specilaists would most likely be at Pulse (private) in Blago or up to Sofia

Cheers

Ashley
