2) Any handyman services App (in English) for house repairs and gardening?

If you have google translate then is very similar to ebay. I use google to translate my message and never had a problem buying things. Most sellers use ekont to deliver.

I am also learning Bulgarian online with a great teacher who I can forward details of.

As the previous post states be wary of handymen. They may only be handy as they live around the corner.聽 Use facebook to give them the once over and you'll soon find the cowboys.

When shopping online in聽 BG, I use Google Chrome which translates everything automatically, it works very well. I've then created accounts and made purchases at technopolis.bg (electronics), praktiker.bg (DIY), emag.bg (amazon type online store) and OLX.bg (ebay ish).

The other option is to buy stuff on Ebay and Amazon in the UK (or USA), but use one of the storing/forwarding services (shipito.com type) who will give you a mailing/delivery address and then repack/forward all your items.
