Applying for a Blue Badge in Cyprus

MacGeorge8035

I have a Blue Badge issued in the UK before we moved to Cyprus. This badge is due to expire next month.  I found the application form for the blue badge here in Cyprus, which seems very simplistic.

Does anyone have any experience applying for a blue badge in Cyprus, what did you do, what was the outcome, how long does it take and do you need to see a doctor?

By the way, my disability is pronounced I am an above-knee amputee

I just thought I would update my application for a blue badge. The process is really simple: You fill out a form, which you can get online. The form is in English. Once you complete the form, your doctor needs to fill out another form outlining your disability.

The forms can be found here

I needed to supply copies of the following documents: Passport, Residency Document, Birth Certificate, Utility bill with my address on it, two passport-size photos, and the completed forms.

It has taken 3 weeks to get my new badge, which arrived by post.
