Question about taxes and salary

saydrick

Hello guyz

i am looking for some information about the italian taxes on the revenue.
How does it work?

i understood that from:
15k to 28k - Taxes on the revenue 27%
28 to 55k - Taxes on the revenue 38%

is it taken directly from the salary?
Is it the difference between gross salary and net salary ?

Thanks for you help

yes it´s this sorry

I am told it is taken out by your employer and he is liable to pay the tax office.  Your gross salary is before tax is taken out and net is after or your take home income.

If your self employed then you would have to do it yourself and from what I hear it is made difficult.

thanks for the informative answers. a question: so we dont have to register for tax ourselves im employed so that means my company does it for me? and i dont owe any other tax?

Asked an Italian friend and if it's your first job in Italy you have register with the revenue office here in Italy.  Probably something like a tax file number.  You have to do this,  not your employer.
