Hello, i'm Laurensia and my husband is Romanian Citizen. Does anyone here know about how health insurance procedure in Romania? My husband get his from his company and say that insurance he have also cover for me, but i'm still a little bit confuse because i'm unemployed so they said i must obtain my own health insurance. So anyone know how to obtain it? Either private or state one.

If you already have your CNP, you can check here whether you are insured/co-insured (national health system) or not:

If you are not, you should go to register to:
Casa de Asigur膬ri de S膬n膬tate a Municipiului Bucure葯ti
葮oseaua Bucure葯ti-Ploie葯ti 7, Bucure葯ti

You will also have to go to Anaf to register as an insurance payer, pay the insurance and they will issue a certificate.. I think this is the first step,actually but Casa de Asigurari will tell you what to do and in what order.
