expired employment visa &application failed immigration check

qodse

Salam.

my name is Adnan Khalid Qudsi
My employer applied for a work visa as a pharmacist. because I got a work permit from NHRA (national Health regulatory authority)
but now the upper status on the LMRA website shows that
expired employment visa.
and lower status shows That
the application failed immigration check, you may apply again for a different expat
my employer says that we will apply again.
is there any chance for 2nd time?

what is the possible solution

This is because you have failed to clear the Immigration check-in in Bahrain. NPRA does not give reasons for approval or rejection. The employer can apply again, If it fails again there might be some problem under your name in Immigration.

As I told you, the Only Solution is to apply again. If it gets rejected again forget about working in Bahrain.

If you are already worked in Bahrain before or if you are currently in Bahrain check if you have any cases in Bahrain that can be even small 1 BHD non-payment to telecom providers or any other cases.

If you have never entered Bahrain ask your employer to check with NPRA. But very less chance to get the approval.

@topinsight01 i am not in Bahrain. this means i could not enter the Bahrain by any sort of visa

@qodse I work so hard to clear the licensing exam. and now i stuck in visa

As mentioned, if it is a security rejection (failed immigration checks), and keeps on happening, there is NO chance for you to work in Bahrain.

UNLESS

Your sponsor has very high level connections which allows them to directly approach the concerned department to find out the issue - it may be fixable then (IF there is a doubt - because if there is any doubt, they will just reject.  They don't have time to deep dive and check).  As an example (And I have shared my experience on the forums some years ago), when I first moved to Bahrain, my visa was rejected 7 times for the same reason.   However, my sponsor company was a big multinational that had substantial connections (As they had done a large investment in Bahrain) and I was coming in at a top position.  So they pursued it and eventually the visa got through after a few months.   The issue for me was the name (matches with someone else) plus two valid passports - because, I used to travel a lot on business, and would fill a passport with stamps within a year and then apply for a new one (my country doesn't cancel old passport if it has a valid visa).

However, the big caveat here is that:

a) Your sponsor must have connections at that level
b) They must be willing to use them - which is not likely unless you are coming in as top management

Hi all,

I was offered a job in Bahrain with one of the leading telecom companies. I am not in Bahrain, and After 2.5 months of waiting I was informed that my visa was rejected, despite them approaching relevant authorities on multiple occasions.

I read the thread above and it seems I won't be able to get an employment visa, which is very disappointing as I need this job badly, however, do you think if I use a different PRO (possibly more powerful and more connected) will have a better chance to get me the visa?

Thanks

XTang

There is no guarantee when it comes to specific nationalities.  Lebanese have always had a difficult time getting work visas for Bahrain and nowadays, it is even more of an issue.   You can try but as I said, likelihood is low if this is a security rejection.Â
