You'd better contact your employer's HR and double-check if they can help with accomodation.
There are many compaunds, but now is the hot time and not mutch offers available. I looked at Ranco, Rahmanyah and Seder compaunds, all are good for family.
I can also advise a company which helps me with accomodation - please PM me if needed.

I don't think there are compounds in Sakaka. I wish I can go there with you. Sakaka is an ancient city and is lovely. So most聽 likely you will be placed in a 4 or 5 star furnished apartment. It will be very nice.

When I came to KSA, I was at a place like Sakaka so my company placed me in a furnished 1 bedroom apartment in a 3 star hotel. It was very nice because to western standards it was a 4 star but here its classified as a 3 star.
