Does anyone know where I can buy/rent some crutches? I have sprained my knee and I need to stay off my knee. In the long term I might need a knee support, like a DonJoy knee brace. Has anyone had to go through this in HCMC?

Hi,

I do not know how long your doctor suggest you to use crutches, and where you are living.
* There are 3 kinds of crutches you may buy in VN : wooden or aluminium or stainless steel crutches. If you may use only in short term, I would suggest you buy wooden as its price is聽 cheapest and you can throw away after using.
* Where to buy : you can find at medical devices shops at :
** TRAN HUNG DAO st, dist 1, not so far from Ben Thanh market.
** CONG QUYNH st, dist 3, near TU DU OBGYN hospital.
** Orthopedic hospital or surrounding , TRAN HUNG DAO st, dist. 5.

In case your insurance covers, you can make appointment to doctor the get prescription , then buy it at hospital with a bill.
