transfer of family visa to employment visa

Hi
I was on family and now changing to job visa. It is on processing. As per the new rule , it is saying that i will have to exit from oman and come back . I have many doubts on this ground. At the time of travelling can I carry my new job visa with me?? My PRO saying that I can carry the visa and come back within hours. But my friends and others are saying that as per new rule , I can get new visa after submitting my cancellation papers. And then they can deposit the visa .
So I am in trouble. please let me clarify my doubts

Hi Navami,

A person cannot have two valid visas for the same country, in the same passport, at the same time.

So obviously you would have to cancel your dependent visa first. Exit the country, send your visa cancelled page copy from the passport to your new employer.

Your new employer would then have to apply for your employment visa. Once it is ready, you can fly back in on the new employment visa.

Can I get the visa in the same day after my cancellation?? Bcos my sponsor is telling that to go to Dubai for a few hours and to come back. How can I go Dubai without Dubai visa. I am planning to go to India.

Hi Navami,

If your new employer is so confident, then I am sure they have some way by which they can get your employment visa within 24-hours !
