Dear all,

Oman work visa issuing authority ( ROP) has recently announced that they have resumed work visa application acceptance from 29th Nov 2020. It gave relief to many people waiting for this to happen.

My query is

1. Did anybody actually got new work visa after this announcement ( made on 29th Nov)

2. If company HR claims that labour clrearance is there already and medical fitness report also reached them, what is normal waiting time before one can get Visa under current scenaio.

Nice to know and good for you.

This might have happened before COVID 19 scenario I guess ( correct me if I am wrong)

I was interested in knowing if anybody got new employement Visa after 29th November 2020 ?

I am asking this becuase ROP has started accepting application after long time from 29th Nov so many applications might have reached them.

Considering the rush, processing of these applications may take longer time is my guess.

Just one question.

Was it a new Visa altigether or tranfer of Visa from one sponsir to other sponsor. I know 2 more people who were already inside Oman and got new Visa transfer from one to other sponsor.

If yours is a full new visa, it is a good news.

New visa from outside. No NOC was required as I passed over the 2 years.

Does anyone know how long it takes for correction in employment visa?
My employer sent me my work visa a few weeks back, but there were a few typo mistakes on the visa document. I have been waiting for the correction for some time now.
